Russian sage blue spire (Perovskia atriplicifolia) is a herbaceous perennial native to Central Asia. It is known for its tall, upright stems and narrow, silvery-green leaves. In late summer, it produces spikes of small, blue flowers that bloom from the top of the plant down.
